Hip hop dance will be the primary focus. However, other styles can be introduced if the students are interested.
The goal of this course is to provide a creative option for physical activity and fun. The course aims to help students build flexibility, strength, and coordination skills as well as to help them feel more comfortable in their bodies. A general class would include a warm-up, a short technique lesson, and a combination. This class is suitable for students of any level of dance experience, though it will be physically rigorous. Both males and females are encouraged to participate.
